Getting back to my passion for green, I took some photos in my neighborhood last week. These beautiful alliums are just down the street from me. A relative of the onions, they come from bulbs that should be planted in the fall. They like a sunny, well drained location. These particular ones seem to thrive around my neighbor’s mailbox.
Must be a standard mailbox flower. Our neighbors have them around their mailbox, too. They were gorgeous, this spring.
